Based on the work of Jonny Chung Lee, Dave VerLee has created a virtual sound editing interface which is rather ingenious.

A video projector displays the editing user interface on a white board under your feet. The guitarist is then able to change the sounds and add effects directly using his feet whereby his movements are tracked with a WiiMote.

By having his hands free, the guitarist is able to keep playing the instrument while applying his modifications/effects.
